Our restaurant "Alte Mühle"
Since the mill restaurant opened, it has been a tradition that the chef Günter Knorr himself is at the stove
and the boss Doris Knorr personally welcomes the guests in the restaurant.
This tradition will continue with the next generation.
After many years in the wide world and many culinary impressions, the two children Manuel and Lisa are now back
in their homeland and take on the host qualities of their parents.
Manuel follows in his father's footsteps and Lisa takes over the service management of the restaurant.
Away from the city life of Coburg you will find the possibility to switch off and enjoy in the restaurant of the Alte Mühle.
Since 1995 the Knorr family has relied exclusively on down-to-earth and honest products.
Depending on the seasons, primarily regional products from the Coburg area are processed.
Our specialties range from the classic “Wohlschbacher Schnitzel” to local Itzgrund venison.
Vegetarians are sure to find something delicious too.
Our very well qualified kitchen and service staff look forward to a great evening
in our mill restaurant.
